Lisa understands that a holistic approach to healing is one that works and creates positive change. Her philosophy is to provide a plan that is unique, individualized, and that includes a collaborative learning experience. She often recommends the use of alternative therapies (i.e., Yoga, Acupuncture, Massage, Aromatherapy, Tai Chi, etc.) along with evidenced based treatment. Lisa is experienced treating individuals, groups, and families and uses therapeutic orientations (CBT, EMDR, Solution Focused, etc.) in accordance with a client’s specific need. She completed her Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Argosy University with honors, has attended the GSAHEC’s Returning Veterans Mental Health Program and is an EMDRIA trained EMDR therapist and is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with the International Association of Trauma Professionals. Lisa is a Florida Board Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) and has had a long time interest in helping those that suffer with addiction. She completed her internship at Manatee Glens in the Addictions Residential Treatment Center, Outpatient Detox Center, as well as here at Mangrove Wellness Center. She also happens to be a Certified Anger Management Treatment Provider.
She has an art background and has experience with jewelry making, ceramics, Shibori hand dye work on silk, as well as being a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. Lisa previously taught high school English to troubled teens for over 10 years and loves working with animals, anything involving Pet Therapy, working with all ages, and being an advocate to those in need.
Lisa enjoys cooking, gardening, writing, reading, and caring for her pets in her spare time.

Christine has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in practice for over six years. She received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Arizona State University and a Master of Arts in mental health counseling from Argosy University in Phoenix, Arizona. Christine relocated to Sarasota in October 2014. She is originally from New Jersey.
Christine has worked in community mental health in Arizona and Florida with adolescent and adult populations dealing with symptoms of depression, anxiety, panic, anger, trauma, DUI charges, as well as clients having difficulties with communication and interpersonal relationships. Her methods and models used are cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered therapy, as well as art techniques. Christine has worked with clients who have experienced trauma and is in the beginning stages of becoming certified in trauma/emergency care.
She enjoys spending time at the beach, being out in nature, reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.

Stephanie has expertise working with children, adolescents, individual adults, families, grief issues, and women's issues. Stephanie helps children with school issues, anxiety, including social anxiety, and depression. She specializes in play therapy, including sand tray therapy. Stephanie works with adults and adolescents addressing issues of depression, anxiety, grieving, addictions and substance abuse, school and job stress.
Stephanie has worked as a guidance counselor in public and private schools. She has provided treatment for addictions and substance abuse in outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings, dealing with co-occuring disorders.
Stephanie received her BS degree in social work from James Madison University in Virginia and her masters degree in counselor psychology from Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has a Florida Professional Educator's Certificate in Guidance and Counseling and has certification as an equine psychotherapist.

My Bachelors degree is from the University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio, where I majored in Social Work. I received my Masters degree from Bowling Green State University in the Guidance and Counseling program. I was then certified in Clinical Counseling from the University of Heidelberg.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have worked with children, adolescents and adults, with emergency mental, emotional and substance problems, who were admitted to inpatient crises stabilization units. I also have experience with children, adolescents and adults, experiencing behavioral and emotional difficulties, and have counseled in both school and home based settings.
I specialize in treating mood disorders, Adjustment disorders, ADHD, Oppositional Defiance, Reactive Attachment Disorders, abuse/neglect, loss and bereavement, substance abuse and dependence, couples and families with relationship problems and seniors.
Depending on the specific treatment needs of each individual or family, I use a variety of theoretic approaches to reduce negative, dysfunctional thoughts, feelings and behaviors, with the goal of improved functioning. This would include Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Based, Family Systems and Integrated approaches for addiction treatment.

Barbara, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice for twenty years, works with children, teens, and adults from a holistic and strengths-based perspective. She is a Registered Play Therapist with specialized training in expressive therapies for children, including sandplay therapy. Children ages 4-12 love visiting her therapeutic playroom when they are experiencing challenges related to school/learning issues, family crisis, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, or trauma. Parenting support and education are essential components of child play therapy.
Prior to obtaining a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Hawaii in 1986, Barbara worked as a registered nurse in medical and psychiatric settings, as well as with hospice. With that background, she remains interested in adult concerns related to health issues and aging.
In her free time, Barbara enjoys spending time with her two adult daughters, exploring nature with her two dogs, gardening, and mindfulness meditation.
Jennifer Lieberman MA LMFT
For almost twenty-five years, I have been working with individual adults and couples of all ages, racial and ethnic backgrounds, economic strata, and gender/sexual identities. I also have an extensive history working with youth ages 5-18 in schools as well as agency settings. Extremely good at inviting people to feel safe and seen, I am highly collaborative with clients when constructing goals and finding interventions that complement your background and personal style. As a clinician, I am present centered, building bridges between the past and your present experiences. We practice skills building, including introspecting and developing presence, through in-session interventions and homework assignments. I am very experienced in work with LGBTQ clients, life transitions, identity issues, alternative life and relationship styles, grief and trauma recovery, communication skills, depression, and anxiety as well as infertility and parenting concerns. I am committed to ongoing engagement in the social justice discourse.
